Čankišou are from Brno. Since 1999, they have played dynamic, ethno-dance music with a rock foundation
whose speciality lies in the singing of their charismatic frontman Karel Heřman, who utilizes various voice
techniques, including throaty singing and quawli. Čankišou sing in the imaginary language of Čanki people.
