The project of Horská karavana originated as a cooperation among the Feng-Jün Song, a chinese man living and writing music in the Czech Republic, the Vedrals pair, and Martin Smolka. They have played together occasionally for five years. (Too European ears strangely sounding interpretations of Chinese, Tibetian, Korean, Mongolian, Indonesian, and other eastern ethnic songs draw from traditional Peking opera.
